Sandwich was once one of the most important ports in the country and, today, has a sense of place that many smaller towns yearn for. With a rich urban heritage filled with many wonderful properties and an active social calendar, there's a sense of the continent in Sandwich that is next nearest found over the channel. 

Those of us lucky enough to live here know that we need to do more to make sure Sandwich doesn't lose its charm while fighting hard to make sure that we get the services we still desperately need. Your Town Councillor, Martyn Pennington, is doing just that.
